The House That Hustle Built
KINHOUSE wasn’t born out of funding rounds or business plans.
It started with two people, a dream, and a 500 sq. ft. shop-in-shop in Flatiron.
A husband and wife with no investors, no backing, and no blueprint — just faith, grit, and the belief that New York didn’t need another salon.
It needed a space with soul.
What began as a small, self-built studio has grown into a 5,000 sq. ft. second-floor loft in SoHo, the cultural heart of downtown Manhattan. Every wall, mirror, and light was designed with intention. Every inch of this space tells the story of doing it your own way.
From 500 to 5,000
That Flatiron space was small, but it had heart. Clients became friends. Word spread fast. And the idea of what a salon could be started to shift.
KINHOUSE wasn’t just about cuts or color. It was about creating a house where people came to connect, recharge, and walk out feeling like their sharpest, truest selves.
The move to SoHo wasn’t about size. It was about energy.
A loft big enough to match the vision.
A second home for a city that’s always in motion.
What We BelievE
Style is culture. Hair is identity. Community is everything.
KINHOUSE is a modern unisex salon built for the way New York lives now — where everyone’s invited and no one needs to pretend.
Here, women come for transformations, extensions, color, and precision cuts. Men come for fades, beard trims, and gloss treatments that actually matter. Everyone leaves looking better and feeling even better than that.
This isn’t a “for her” or “for him” kind of space. It’s for people who get it — the creatives, the entrepreneurs, the ones building something of their own.
The Culture
KINHOUSE isn’t about perfection. It’s about confidence.
About walking out feeling like yourself, only sharper.
Our stylists are artists — technically trained, wildly creative, and real. They know how to make people look good and feel seen. Because that’s what the city deserves.
We don’t do trends. We do timeless with an edge.
Hair that feels like you belong anywhere.
The Promise
We built this house by hand.
Every appointment adds another brick to it.
When you sit in our chair, you become part of the story — the next chapter of a New York brand built on faith, hustle, and a whole lot of style.
