Stella joined the team in November 2022.

The first thing to know about her? She's super passionate about her work-especially connecting with her amazing clients, who span the worlds of fashion, finance, publishing, and the art world. "When I'm cutting their hair, and building the shape, and they're starting to feel good, I love seeing someone's face light up," she says. "There's a technical side to what I do, but every haircut is tailored to the specific person I'm with."

She's a bit of a perfectionist. Starting off with a beautiful shape, she dry cuts each hair into submission, until everything falls perfectly into place, and finishes off with a style that has her clients doing duck face in the mirror.

Stella got her start in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the fall of 2000, and eventually made her way to NYC, where she landed at the celeb-favorite Prive Salon in Soho, and then went on to Pas de Deux in Tribeca for nearly a decade.

She's also worked at the pioneering men's salon Martial Vivot in the West Village, where she got to indulge her love of cutting men's hair and develop her unique style.

In her almost nonexistent moments of free time, she loves singing, playing guitar, walking her dog, riding her bike, spending time with friends, and above all, playing with her three-year-old son, Lucian.

When her clients leave the salon, she always wants them to feel "lighter, happier, and more confident," she says.

"Refreshed and renewed. Beautiful and inspired. I just want people to feel good.”
